Diaphragm Wall & Barrette Piles: 0.6m, 0.8m, 1m & 1.2m thick; 78,000m2

This contract consist of the construction of diaphragm wall and barrette piles for three stations on the new Circle Line Stage 2 (CCL2) for the Nishimatsu Lum Chang Joint Venture. The diaphragm wall for two of the stations are temporary works (Old Airport Road and Tanjong Katong) and the third, Paya Lebar is a composite wall that will form part of the permanent structure. All the structures are in busy urban locations with traffic management considerations. Paya Lebar Station is an interchange station and is therefore complicated by being built below the existing MRT structures. Special equipment and procedures are required within a high safety culture.
