Equipment
Using V23 Vibroflots (maximum 3) BSS carried out the vibrocompaction of the sand fill for the new Jurong Road Link between Jurong Port and the Petro-chemical complex's on Jurong Island. This interesting compaction project required compaction of sandfill within caissons with 4mx4m cells. The problem with the cells is the water and air used in the compaction process is trapped within the cell and makes attaining the results that much harder. However, thanks to a great Bachy Soletanche team on site, using up to three vibroflots at peak production, the results achieved were highly successful.
