Construction of the diaphragm wall to form the car park under the extension of the Thomson Medical Centre along Thomson Road. This site was particularly challanging due to teh very small area available (see below). Additionally, the barrette piles had top down plunged stanchions in them. This allowed the excavationto proceed at the same time as the construction above after the 1st floor slab was cast.

The top down stanchions consisted of 3 steel sections prefabricated on site and lowered into the excavation.
