Thickness: 1.0m & 1.2m
Depth: up to 57m

The diaphragm walls for Victoria Station have been excavated through up to 40m of very soft marine clay and up to 15m of hard old alluvium. Due to the nature of the work site along the busy Victoria Street, numerous traffic and utilitity diversions were required. Barrette Piles were used to take the heavy loads on the Station.
