Bachy Soletanche have been working in Singapore since the 1970's with the installation of slurry and grout cut offs for dams on water reservoirs such as Upper Pierce Dam and the McRitchie Reservoir.

Bachy Soletanche Singapore Pte Ltd was incorporated in 1982 and has since been active in many aspects of geotechnical and foundation engineering ranging from soil investigation, grouting, deep compaction to foundations and diaphragm walling. Soletanche Bachy group was actively involved during the construction of the first MRT Stations such as Orchard Station, Somerset Station, Newton Station and Victoria Station.

Starting with Suntec City in 1990, Bachy Soletanche confirmed its position of leading specialist in diaphragm walling and deep foundations throughout the 1990's on large projects both for the private sector at Bugis, Renovation of the convent of Holy Infant Jesus (CHIJMES), River Place Condominium, Goldbell Tower, Capital Tower, the Singapore Exchange Centre and for the public sector at Central Ministries Building, Immigration Building, the new Singapore Post centre and the Adam Road/Farrer Road Interchange.

2B Complex, Roberston Quay

The Company continued in 1996 winning the turnkey contract for a two level basement for the 2B Complex at Robertson Quay. In 1997 Bachy Soletanche was awarded the specialist foundation works of the Clarke Quay Station for the North East Line extension of the MRT where an excavation 26m deep was required next to the Singapore River.

Into the new millennium and the company has seen continued activity in a wide range of projects, in private developments, industrial and infrastructure. With an increased focus is on the development of our various subsidiaries and the promotion of quality through innovative technology.
